What you gain

Higher efficiency

Clean surfaces mean better heat absorption and lower fuel consumption.

Cheaper fuel

Move from chips (~0.5% ash) to bark (~3%) or logging residues (~2%).

Less manual cleaning

Continuous sootcleaning cuts unplanned stops and shortens planned ones.

Less wear

No mechanical wear on tubes and plate surfaces – longer lifetime.

Scalable and reliable

Adapted to boiler size and fuel type, with remote monitoring and support.

Technology

How infrasound sootcleaning works

Low-frequency sound instead of steam, compressed air or mechanical sootblowers – powerful, gentle and cost-efficient.

Powerful turbulence

Sound waves at 14–25 Hz oscillate the flue gases and break the bond between soot, ash and metal surfaces.

Continuous operation

Runs on your compressed air (3–8 bar), 0.5–2 seconds every 3–5 minutes during operation. Less air than air sootblowing.

No wear

No physical contact with the metal surfaces – zero erosion on tubes and turning plates, longer boiler lifetime.

Placement in the plant

Clean all the way – from furnace to flue gas cleaning

A single unit is mounted at the top of the fire-tube boiler (~350 °C). The sound travels both upstream to the furnace and downstream through the entire flue gas path.

Furnace

~1000 °C

More combustion turbulence and easier ash discharge.

Empty draft (cooled)

~650 °C

Keeps the draft free from soot build-up.

Fire-tube boiler

~350 °C

Mounting point – where the effect on heat transfer is greatest.

Multicyclone & duct

Counteracts deposits on the way to the ESP.

ESP & flue gas fan

The effect reaches the fan. Bag filters are not negatively affected.

Result: cleaner surfaces through the entire flue gas path – better combustion and heat transfer, higher availability and less maintenance on the multicyclone, ducts and ESP.

How we work

From analysis to operation

We take end-to-end responsibility – from inspection to commissioning and ongoing optimisation.

01

Needs analysis

We map the deposit pattern in your boiler.

02

Installation

1–2 days with your own welders and electricians, commissioned while running.

03

Control

Connected to the boiler control system and tuned for every operating point.

04

Follow-up

Regular inspections and parameter adjustments.
